The Wehr Astronomical Society (WAS) is a group of amateur astronomers that promote the casual study of astronomy. WAS offers public telescopic viewing in Whitnall Park and all levels of astronomers are welcome at their programs and meetings.
Public programs are held 7:00pm-9:00pm on the second Tuesday of February through June; September & November and 1st Tuesday evening in October.
